About Vanessa Williams, DDS
Dr. Williams grew up in the Mississippi Delta and received her B.S. in Biology from Tennessee State University in 1998. She then earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. After spending several years working as a research analyst for a nonprofit organization in Fort Worth, TX, she went on to dental school and graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, Dr. Williams worked in community nonprofit dental clinics in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Additionally, she has worked as a clinical instructor at Texas A.M. School of Dentistry. Dr. Williams is committed to providing the most advanced and compassionate dental care to her patients. She stays up-to-date on the latest trends in dentistry by attending yearly continuing education courses and dental seminars. She adheres to the highest standards in infection control by following strict guidelines of the ADA, OHSA, and CDC to make sure her patient’s health is never compromised. Dr. Williams has participated in dental mission trips to Africa and Jamaica. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
