About Vandan S. Shah, MD
Dr. Shah is a native of Farmington Hills, Michigan. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Detroit Country Day High School in 2006. He then attended The Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a secondary major in Chemistry. He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society as a junior, a distinction reserved for those students in the top two percent of their graduating class. Dr. Shah subsequently attended The University of Michigan Medical School where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society and graduated in the top ten percent of his class. After medical school, he completed two years of Internal Medicine residency as well as his Dermatology residency at The University of Michigan. Dr. Shah received extensive training from world-renown physicians in medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and internal medicine. Dr. Shah is a board certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
