About Uvoh E. Onoriobe, BDS
Dr. Uvoh Onoriobe was born and raised in Nigeria. He attended the University of Benin, Benin-City, Nigeria for his Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he completed an internship in General Dentistry at the Military Hospital Lagos, Nigeria. Thereafter, he worked as a General Dentist for a non-profit organization offering dental services across various communities around the African continent. He obtained a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. He also completed a residency in Dental Public Health in North Carolina Oral Health Section in 2012. He went to complete the Advanced Standing program for Internationally Trained Dentists and obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016. Uvoh has worked in private practice for the past three years. He is honored to be a part of the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at the University of Michigan. He has interests in Dental Research, Education and Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and friends and runs a non-profit organization (Healing Hands) that seeks to address health disparities amongst low income families. Dr Onoriobe currently serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve Dental Corp.
