About Todd E. Perkins, MD
Dr. Perkins is a native Washingtonian. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University and obtained his medical degree from Hahnemann University with honors, and was inducted into the AOA national medical honor society. He completed his residency at Rush Medical Center where he served as the Chief Resident in Dermatology. After completion of his residency, Dr. Perkins trained and supervised residents in Dermatology at the Washington Hospital Center, where he is a staff Attending Dermatologist. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the Board of National Medical Examiners. He is an advisor to several pharmaceutical companies, and trains physicians locally and nationally on the proper use of several advanced medical treatments. He practices general medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. In addition to a strong focus on skin cancer and all forms of skin disease, he performs all forms of advanced cosmetic dermatology including body contouring, laser rejuvenation, and botox and filler for wrinkle treatments. He has appeared numerous times on Fox 5 Washington DC for its, Ask a Dermatologist, sessions.
