About Thomas C. Flavin, DDS

Dr. Flavin graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School, he returned home to St. Louis and has been practicing here ever since. Passionate about continuing education, Dr. Flavin has received advanced training at the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute, The Dawson Center for advanced education, and The Spear Institute. His memberships include the American Dental Society (ADA), The Missouri Dental Society (MDA), The Greater St. Louis Dental Society (GSLDS), and The American Equilibration Society. Dr. Flavin served as the President of The Greater St. Louis Dental Society and was honored with the Award of Merit in 2006 for his many years of service to the profession.Dr. Flavin is very invested in giving back to his community with both education and care. He is proud of his development of, and ongoing work with, Give Kids A Smile in St. Louis, a not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive care for underserved children. He has served as Vice President and President since its inception in 2001, and he is especially proud that the ADA has taken the concept to a national level, as its premier access to care program.Dr. Flavin has also served as a board member and President to the Delta Dental Health Theatre of St. Louis. The theatre has served as an educational program for preschool aged children for over 35 years.Dr. Flavin is an avid golfer and enjoys all sports. He also cherishes the time he spends with his wife Debi and their four children.
