About Thomas K. Bachstein, DMD
Dr. Bachstein, a native of Syracuse, New York, was raised in Starnberg, Germany, where he graduated from high school before returning to Syracuse. Dr. Bachstein received a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1989 and subsequently attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1994. After graduating from Penn, he obtained a post-graduate Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the Temple University School of Dentistry. At Temple he was also a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Oral Medicine. In this context he also conducted research in dental materials. Dr. Bachstein currently practices general dentistry with emphasis on personalized family and esthetic care. During his more than fifteen years of professional practice he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to high-quality dental treatment. He has good rapport with young patients. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and of the International Dental Fraternity, Alpha Omega. Dr. Bachstein resides with his wife and three children in Berwyn.
