About Tamer Alpagot, DDS
Dr. Tamer Alpagot is a full professor of dentistry as well as a faculty member in the Department of Periodontics, at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He also previously taught in the Division of Periodontics at the University of Minnesota. Because Dr. Alpagot is a well-respected clinical researcher, he has received numerous grants from the prestigious National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Dental Research. Moreover, he has given scientific presentations in national and international dental meetings, and is the author of various publications in the field of Periodontology. Dr. Alpagot is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American and California Dental Associations, and the American and International Associations of Dental Research.
