About Sylvie Khorenian, MD
Dr. Khorenian is a board certified Dermatologist and Dermatological surgeon. Prior to her medical degree, Dr. Khorenian graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston College, where she was awarded membership to the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Epsilon Delta honor societies. She then received her medical degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School where she was awarded membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After graduating, Dr. Khorenian completed her medical internship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, NY, and Dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Khorenian began practicing in the New York area. Dr. Khorenian currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she has received several teaching awards, including the Department of Dermatology Award for Excellence in Service and Patient Care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is currently on the attending staff of Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY, and Englewood Hospital, NJ. Dr. Khorenian is a published author of Dermatological research, and has taught in several professional cosmetic workshops and seminars. She is an active member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and the NJ Dermatologic Society. Dr. Khorenian specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology with emphasis on both skin health and aesthetic improvement. She has extensive experience with different neuromodulators, injectable fillers, lasers, RF, light devices, microneedling, and PRP for the treatment of photo-aging, wrinkles, volume loss, discoloration as well as acne scars. She treats adult and adolescent conditions including acne, rosacea, hyperhidrosis, eczema, skin cancer, precancers, and atypical moles. Dr. Khorenian believes in educating her patients on healthy skin habits, effective skin care regimens and personalized anti-aging treatment plans that give natural results.
