About Steven C. Wilburn, DDS
Dr. Wilburn graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1982 with a DMD degree in dentistry and has been in private practice since moving to Sonoma County in 1986. He is an active member of the Redwood Empire Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He donates time treating patients for Hannah Boys Center, Valley of the Moon Children’s Center, and also donates treatment through the Donated Dental Services Program. Dr. Wilburn challenges himself to keep current with the ever changing dental field. His office has the latest dental software, digital X-rays, and equipment for the most up-to-date dental care. Treatment provided by Dr. Wilburn include: the latest cosmetic treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, veneers, soft-tissue-laser treatment, implant-therapy, crowns, bridges, fillings, dentures and periodontal therapy. However, the most important element to Dr. Wilburn’s practice is his caring and professional chair-side approach to dentistry. The most common patient feedback the office receives is their deep appreciation of his gentle and professional approach to dentistry. Dr. Wilburn is very responsive to their specific dental needs and allows the patients to feel at ease and relax while in the chair. He takes the time to listen to patients, explain their diagnosis and all of the treatment options available to resolve their dental issues, including costs and benefits of each option. He then strives to ensure that he does the best possible dental work to suit their specific needs. Patient comfort and satisfaction are his highest priorities. Dr. Wilburn has been married 39 years to his wife Deanne and they have three grown children living within the state of California. His youngest child, Kyle, is in dental school and will be joining the practice in a few years! He enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work that includes interests in hiking, biking and skiing, traveling, gardening and home improvement projects.
