About Steven Mcconnell, DDS
Dr. McConnell has been serving the community with exceptional, compassionate dental care for over 30 years. His focus on overall oral health and esthetic dentistry requires highly specialized procedures using advanced technology. He provides services in full mouth rejuvenation, dental aging, smile makeover, bite analysis and unbalanced bite correction, periodontal disease prevention, dental implants, teeth whitening, veneers, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Steven McConnell graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco. He is a certified specialist in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and since 1978, has owned The Marin Center for Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry in Novato. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and he is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Locally he is a member of the California Dental Society and the Marin County Dental Society. He has completed additional education and training in a number of specialties including sedation dentistry, non surgical periodontal laser therapy, and CEREC restorations. Dr. McConnell integrates advanced technology and waste reduction, minimally invasive techniques, and non-toxic materials into his patients’ treatment plans, while maintaining a paperless office. His commitment to environmental responsibility is a natural outgrowth of his dedication to the highest standard of patient care. Performing digital x-rays in lieu of film and using CEREC natural porcelain crowns rather than traditional laboratory-made restorations reflect the green initiative he instituted in 2001.
