About Steven Altman, DMD
Dr. Altman received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and completed his AEGD residency program at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Altman provides comprehensive dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea and restorative dentistry. He prides himself in utilizing state-of-the-art dental technology and research to provide the best care to his patients, meticulously detailing a simple filling or a full mouth makeover. He listens carefully to patients to understand their interests and concerns so that he can collaborate with them to achieve the best possible results dentistry has to offer. Dr. Altman travels around the country learning from the best minds in dentistry to gain knowledge and experience and takes five times the required amount of continued education courses each year. He is working towards his Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He is a faculty club member at the prestigious Spears Institute for advanced dental education. Dr. Altman belongs to the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Greenwich Dental Society, New York State Dental Association and American Academy of Facial Cosmetics. In his spare time, Dr. Altman enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing sports and volunteering in various dental outreach programs such as Dentistry from the Heart and yearly trips with the rotary club to the Dominican Republic to treat the underserved population.
