About Stephen J. Zuknick, DMD

Patients rave about Dr. Zuknick’s approach to dental care because he listens to his patients’ needs and thoroughly explains treatment in a way that’s easy to understand. His patients appreciate his patience and understanding. Dr. Steve Zuknick was born in Sarasota, Florida. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 1993 and his doctorate in Dentistry from University of Florida in 1998. He received numerous awards during dental school for excellence in comprehensive care and dental implants. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (honorary dental fraternity). He is active in the dental profession and serves on the Florida Dental Association’s Board of Trustees. He is the past Editor of the West Coast District Dental Association and has served on the American Dental Association’s Council on Membership and Committe on the New Dentist and is a member of the 17th District Delegation to the ADA’s House of Delegates. When he’s not working, Dr. Zuknick enjoys spending time with his four children: Joey, Julie, Jon, and Luisa. He and his wife, Lissette, enjoy an active lifestyle including travel, fitness and cycling.
