About Stephen L. Parker, DDS
With 37 years of experience in comprehensive dentistry in the North Texas area, Dr. Parker has established himself as an authority on cosmetic and restorative care. Dr. Parker is the dentist you grew up with. Focusing his practice on family and community, Dr. Parker has earned many lifelong patients. After receiving his undergraduate degree in 1978 from the University of Texas, he went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1981. Dr. Parker’s ongoing post-graduate education includes the Advanced Aesthetic Continuum at New York University, where he gained valuable, hands-on expertise in porcelain veneers. He is also certified in the restoration of Astratech, ITI Straumann, Dentsply, Nobel Biocare, and Zimmer implants. Currently Dr. Parker is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and Fort Worth District Dental Society. He is also a founding member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry and former President of the Irving Dental Study Club. Dr. Parker and his wife, Dina, have two children. When not busy with work and family, Dr. Parker plays competitive flag football, coaching and quarterbacking his state-ranked team, The Drillers. Having coached youth flag football in the past, he describes himself as a “want to be football coach in the body of a dentist.” In keeping with that desire to be on the sidelines, Dr. Parker provides custom-fitted mouth guards for the varsity football teams at Southlake Carroll, Colleyville Heritage, Grapevine, Denton Guyer and Fort Worth Christian High Schools. Dr. Parker is dedicated to keeping up with the newest advancements in the dental industry. He is committed to investing in his patients by using only the latest and most advanced dental techniques and equipment.
