About Stephen A. Los, DDS
Dr. Los is a native Californian and a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha. Dr. Los comes from a long lineage of dentists - he is the third generation in his family to follow this path and each has been a graduate of Creighton. In addition his dedication to his private practice, Dr. Los is active in many aspects of dentistry including research, teaching and philanthropy. While Dr. Los considers his a "general dentistry" practice, he specializes in a broad spectrum of procedures including dental implants, bonding, veneers and whitening systems. In his on-going efforts to achieve excellence, he attends lectures and continuing education courses in his areas of specialization. Dr. Los is also a recognized speaker, has produced numerous published papers; and as a conscientious humanitarian, he is an active participant in Flying Doctors and has traveled as far west as the Marshall Islands in support of Canvasback Missions, organizations created to provide dental and medical care in poverty-stricken communities abroad. In recognition of his contributions to the dental community, Dr. Los was presented with the Pierre Fauchard Award.
