About Stephen J. Hanrahan, DMD
Dr. Hanrahan received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and his DMD degree from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry. Since graduating from dental school Dr. Hanrahan has taken inumerable hours of dental education classes and continues keeping current with the latest technological skills and equipment. After serving two years in the Air Force, assigned to the dental clinic at Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C., Dr Hanrahan chose New Fairfield as his home. That same year he opened his private practice and along with his wife Lynne, raised their three children. Since moving to New Fairfield, Dr. Hanrahan has been an active member of the community. He is a member of the Danbury Dental Society, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. In the community, he has served on the boards and as a member of the Lions Club, Booster Club, Little League Baseball, Youth Soccer and the NF Town Beautification Committee. Dr. Hanrahan is still an active member of the New Fairfield Zoning Commission and has volunteered there for over 26 years.
