About Stacy L. Norman, DDS
Dr. Stacy Norman was born and raised in the rural community of Rosenberg, Texas. Her grandparents immigrated from Czechoslovakia and Germany and became U.S. citizens, making her parents first generation Americans. Growing up on farms, her parents worked hard and they instilled that work ethic in their three children. After finishing high school at B.F. Terry High School, she attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. While in college, she worked as a dental assistant, confirming her decision to make dentistry her chosen profession. Dr. Norman was accepted for early admission to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, ranked the #1 dental school by U.S. News and World Report. During dental school, she excelled at developing relationships with patients while treating their dental needs, and was recognized at graduation for her outstanding clinical skills. After graduating dental school, Dr. Norman returned home to the Houston area to practice dentistry. Practicing in Kingwood since 1998 has given Dr. Norman the time to develop her excellent clinical skills and gain valuable insight into patients’ needs. Her passion is dental aesthetics and creating beautiful smiles. She works closely with specialists in the area to give patients treatment that they need and desire. Focusing on making patients comfortable and being able to develop relationships that last a lifetime is her main goal. Dr. Norman knows that she has made an impact when patients refer their family and friends for dental treatment. Dr. Norman is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Greater Houston Dental Society. She is also member of a local Seattle Study Club sharing thoughts and ideas with local specialists to better help the communication from one office to another all to make your experience better. She is also a mentor for the CEREC Doctors mentor group, serving as a visiting faculty, where she helps other dentist improve their skills. She believes that continuing education is vital to keeping current in the ever changing field of dentistry, in order to provide her patients the best dental experience possible. She takes every opportunity to learn more about her profession and ways to enhance her clinical skills. Dr. Norman and her husband David met while attending Sam Houston State University, and they were married in 1995 in her hometown, Rosenberg, Texas. Faith and family are important to Dr. Norman, and as such, she and her husband were married in the church she attended as a child. They have three amazing children, two girls and one boy, who keep them busy. Two of her children attend Kingwood Park High School and the youngest attends St. Martha Catholic School. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Norman can be seen around Kingwood attending school and sporting events with her family. They also enjoy cooking, hiking, and travelling together, especially road trips across the United States. When she gets time alone, she enjoys reading fiction and gardening.
