About Spencer R. Bloom, DDS
Dr. Spencer Bloom is a 1979 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Dentistry and has completed many continuing education courses in dentures, overdentures, root canal therapy, periodontics, TMJ, adult orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He believes in continuously upgrading his education and keeping pace with new technology to help deliver quality care and obtain excellent results for his patients. Dr. Bloom delivers a very personalized service, without handing you off to subordinates or routinely sending you out to other offices. He believes in helping patients by fixing what needs fixing and by helping patients prevent the same problems from re-occurring. He stands behind his work. Dr. Bloom opened his dental practice in Chicago in 1983 at 4942-4944 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago. To provide even greater service and upgrade to the latest equipment and office atmosphere, Dr. Bloom moved to his present location on Montrose Ave. in June of 2007. Expanding on the success of his Chicago practice, Dr. Bloom opened his Bloom Dental Care office in Northfield in 2005 to serve his clients on the North Shore. The doctor's talents exceed far beyond the dental chair. Spencer's hobbies include: joking, computing, reading, karaoke singing. He's even a decent rock n' roll drummer! His hand crafted wood works are fascinating. His woodworking creations include plaques for athletes and coaches as well as scroll saw cuttings with wildlife and children's themes.
