About Sherif E. Badr, DDS
Dr. Badr has been practicing dentistry at this location for over twenty years. He is an Associate Professor (retired) and former Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy, Dental School and has received several awards for excellence in teaching. Currently he is an Adjunct Associate Professor teaching Prosthodontics at the same university Dr. Badr completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at Cairo University, Egypt. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dental School. He also earned a Post-graduate Certificate of Prosthodontics from the same university. Dr. Badr served as a member of the medical staff of the Detroit Medical Center and the former Sinai Hospital of Detroit. He has published several articles in dental professional scientific magazines. His practice covers full mouth reconstruction with Crowns, Bridges, Partial Dentures and Complete Dentures that are supported by either Natural Dentition or Dental Implants. Veneers and Bonding complement this process of reconstruction and can also be used for other esthetic and functional purposes.
