About Sean Yuan, MD
Dr. Yuan graduated from Beijing Medical University’s School of Medicine. Trained and practiced as a plastic and craniofacial surgeon in the past, he completed a general surgery residency at Lankenau Hospital and Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital after he moved to the US – both right here in the Keystone State. He then went on to complete a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship training at Richmond’s Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. As a board-certified surgeon, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and fellow of American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Yuan practices medical, surgical weight loss, cosmetic surgery, and general surgery. He is committed to helping patients achieve weight control; assisting them in maintain long term health and improving the downside of rapid weight loss. Dr. Yuan is dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of his patients. He is enthusiastic about his work, care about his patients and love the local community. He and his family has been lived in west Philadelphia area for the past 19 years.
