About Sean M. Smullen, MD
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine with honors in 1988, Dr. Sean Smullen completed training in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1993. From 1993 to 1994, he went on to complete a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Devinder Mangat, M.D., in Cincinnati. Dr. Smullen is board-certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Smullen’s professional memberships include the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Bucks County Medical Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The focuses of Dr. Smullen’s facial plastic and reconstructive surgery practice are rhinoplasty and surgery of the aging face, including facelift and blepharoplasty. He is highly proficient in treating facial skin cancers, tumors, and trauma. He practices out of three offices with his associates Dr. Jeffrey Buckwalter, Dr. Steven Mass, and Dr. Richard Herman.
