About Scott Watterson, DDS
Growing up in Jackson, Michigan, watching his dad practice dentistry, had an enormous impact on his decision to pursue dentistry. He watched his father serve patients and saw the time and talent invested result in a drastic improvement in the patient's lives. Dr. Watterson graduated from Western High School in Jackson. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Taylor University in Indiana, and Spring Arbor University in Michigan before getting his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1998. He was one of only two in his dental school graduating class to go into his own private practice right after his graduation from dental school. He established his practice in Jackson out of a desire to give back to the hometown that had given so much to him. He considers it a blessing to work with a caring, dedicated team, as he follows in his father's footsteps.
