About Savannah L. Banas, DDS
Dr. Savannah Banas is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2004, Dr. Banas moved to Granville, Ohio to study Biology and swim on the varsity team at Denison University. She earned her B.S. in Biology in 2008, graduating with honors. Dr. Banas studied dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver, Colorado and graduated with her D.D.S. degree in 2014. Dr. Banas moved to Detroit, MI in 2014 to pursue a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry though the University of Detroit Mercy with a partnership with St. John Providence Riverview Hospital. She completed the 12-month AEGD program and was offered the opportunity to continue on with a second year of residency as the chief. During her two years of AEGD residency, Dr. Banas developed a passion for providing comprehensive dental care to her patients with particular interest in restoring dental implants, esthetic dentistry, oral surgery, and replacing missing teeth with partial and complete dentures. Dr. Banas has fallen in love with the city of Detroit since moving in 2014 and enjoys attending many Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions games. She also enjoys going to music concerts, swimming, and visiting her family in New Mexico.
