About Satvi Pinnamaneni, DDS
Dr. Satvi Pinnamaneni, known fondly to her patients as Dr. P, takes pride in practicing dentistry where her roots began. After completing high school in Baton Rouge, LA, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station for her undergraduate studies. Subsequently, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, the top ranked dental school in the nation at that time according to US News and World Report. While most general dentists start practicing immediately after dental school, Dr. P gained additional expertise by completing a two year General Practice Residency (GPR) in New York City, at Bronx Lebanon and Brooklyn Hospitals. Some of her achievements during residency include certification in sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, extensive cosmetic dentistry and management of complex medical and dental patients. Dr. P also had the distinction of working as a teaching attending at Brooklyn Hospital and often lectured on relevant topics to the medical department as well as dentists in private practice. Even today, she continues this habit of life-long learning by taking part in more than 100 hours of advanced courses a year to keep up with the latest technology and treatment options and stay ahead of the curve for her patients. Dr. P's practice philosophy is simple - comprehensive preventative dentistry. She puts her philosophy into practice by focusing on early detection and education. She understands how to manage the growth of the orofacial complex when it comes to identifying oral habits as well as tongue and lip ties in kids. Dr. P is a strong supporter of the idea that good oral health is an essential start to a healthy body and mind. Along with her team, she provides this high standard of patient care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. In her spare time, Dr. P, her husband Ketul and their two girls, Shaila and Anjali are busy spending time with extended family or having friends and family over for a home cooked meal.
