About Sang​ H. Shin, DMD

Dr.​ ​Sang​ ​Ho​ ​Shin​ ​was​ ​born​ ​and​ ​raised​ ​in​ ​Seoul,​ ​South​ ​Korea.​ ​After​ ​practicing​ ​as​ ​a general​ ​dentist​ ​in​ ​Korea​ ​from​ ​1995​ ​to​ ​2002,​ ​he​ ​came​ ​to​ ​the​ ​United​ ​States​ ​to​ ​have residency​ ​program​ ​in​ ​periodontic​ ​department​ ​at​ ​graduate​ ​school,​ ​obtained​ ​MS​ ​degree​ ​in oral​ ​biology​ ​and​ ​Certificate​ ​of​ ​Periodontics​ ​from​ ​Texas​ ​A&M​ ​Baylor​ ​College​ ​of​ ​Dentistry in​ ​2006.​ ​He​ ​has​ ​been​ ​a​ ​member​ ​of​ ​the​ ​American​ ​Dental​ ​Association​ ​and​ ​American Academy​ ​of​ ​Periodontology​ ​since​ ​2002. Dr.​ ​Shin​ ​had​ ​been​ ​performing​ ​implant​ ​dentistry​ ​in​ ​Dallas,​ ​TX​ ​for​ ​more​ ​than​ ​10​ ​years before​ ​he​ ​opened​ ​his​ ​new​ ​practice​ ​here​ ​in​ ​Houston,​ ​TX​ ​in​ ​2017.​ ​He​ ​is​ ​proud​ ​to​ ​provide comfortable,​ ​painless​ ​dental​ ​care​ ​to​ ​all​ ​of​ ​his​ ​patients,​ ​and​ ​is​ ​pleased​ ​to​ ​offer​ ​both cosmetic​ ​and​ ​restorative​ ​dentistry.​ ​His​ ​services​ ​include​ ​implants,​ ​gum​ ​disease treatment,​ ​plastic​ ​gum​ ​surgery,​ ​bone​ ​graft,​ ​sinus​ ​lift,​ ​wisdom​ ​tooth​ ​extraction,​ ​IV sedation,​ ​and​ ​comprehensive​ ​dental​ ​treatment.​ ​With​ ​almost​ ​20​ ​years​ ​of​ ​experience,​ ​Dr. Shin​ ​and​ ​his​ ​highly​ ​skilled​ ​team​ ​are​ ​ready​ ​to​ ​help​ ​you​ ​maintain​ ​and​ ​improve​ ​your​ ​smile. He​ ​and​ ​his​ ​wife,​ ​Hyun,​ ​have​ ​raised​ ​three​ ​boys​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Dallas​ ​area.​ ​He​ ​enjoys​ ​playing golf,​ ​jogging,​ ​and​ ​going​ ​to​ ​the​ ​movies​ ​with​ ​his​ ​family.​ ​The​ ​family​ ​treasures​ ​their​ ​time together​ ​and​ ​the​ ​friends​ ​they​ ​have​ ​made​ ​in​ ​Texas.
