I was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in Redlands, California. After graduating from Stanford University, I attended Tufts Medical School in Boston followed by residency at Washington University in St. Louis. For eight years I worked at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA as a dermatologist and was a clinical assistant professor at Drexel University College of Medicine. I am married to a surgical oncologist and we have two sons.
