About Samantha J. Robare, MD
Samantha Robare, M.D. is a native Texan. Dr. Robare is a board-certified dermatologist licensed in Texas with a special interest in several facets of skin health, including pediatrics and medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to complete medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California. After an internal medicine internship at Baylor University College of Medicine in Dallas, Dr. Robare completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During her final residency year, she served as the Chief Resident of Academic Education, where she established a new curriculum to train future dermatologists. During her time at Hardin-Simmons University, Dr. Robare was awarded the prestigious Minnie L. Anderson Award, signifying her as the top female graduate in her class. She was also granted a junior invitation to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha, at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. When she is not focused on dermatology, Dr. Robare enjoys spending time with her family, fitness, travel, and cooking.
