About Samantha C. Matus, DMD
Dr. Samantha Matus has worked alongside Dr. Tosatti since 2014. She is a lifelong resident of Connecticut and now resides in Berlin with her husband and son. Dr. Matus received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA and continued her education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation, she completed a two year General Practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. During her second year of residency, she was selected to be Chief Resident of the program. Dr. Matus became interested in dentistry because it blends her talent of fine motor skills with the ability to help people achieve a better quality of life. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA), Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD). She takes great pride in getting to know each patient, understanding their needs, and helping to meet those needs by developing individualized treatment plans. In her free time, Dr. Matus enjoys spending time with her husband and son, visiting local museums and events, and painting. Dr. Matus is committed to continuing to provide the highest quality care that Dr. Tosatti has shown the community for the past 36 years and looks forward to seeing both new and established patients.
