About Ryan Wallrich, DMD
Believe it or not, Dr. Ryan is a fifth-generation native of Point Loma. From Red Brick Preschool to Point Loma High, he has spent his life growing and learning alongside the residents of his hometown community and feels privileged to now care for their oral health. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ - one of the most technologically advanced dental institutions in the nation. He has received numerous academic awards and has additional training in various subfields of dentistry including dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry. He is credentialed through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as an Affiliate Associate Fellow. Dr. Wallrich is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the San Diego County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He has lectured on various topics from Digital Workflows of CAD/CAM-CBCT Integration to Emerging Dental Applications of 3D Printing. Digital dentistry is a particular passion for Dr. Wallrich, and he finds fulfillment in creating life-like, natural smiles for his patients. When he isn’t doing dentistry, he’s walking La Playa Trail with his fiancé, Olivia, and their Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, Benji. He also enjoys watching the Padres with a local San Diego IPA in hand.
