About Robert J. Shimborski, DDS
Dr. Shimborski is a lifelong resident of Bucks County. He was raised in Churchville and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Elementary School and then Council Rock High School. College consisted of 2 years in Bucks County Community College and finishing at Rider University. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry, graduating in 3.5 years instead of the usual 4. While attending Dental School he was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society and the Gold Foil Study Club. He also received the Mosby Book Award. He is currently a member of the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He also attends numerous continuing education courses every year. When his son was younger he was an Assistant Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 139, helping his son and many others achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Formerly a member of the Langhorne Rotary Club he is a Paul Harris Fellow and a Gundaker Fellow. His philosophy on treating patients is treating every one as if they were a member of his family.
