About Robert L. Porter, DDS
Dr. Robert L. Porter is a board-certified dentist who has been treating families in Richardson for over 30 years. A graduate of both the University of Texas in Austin and Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Porter is committed to giving each patient a great experience at his office with the highest quality of care. His practice includes state-of-the-art equipment like a CEREC machine so he can make custom dental restorations for his patients. When he's not working, Dr. Porter enjoys outdoor activities with family and playing music with his friends. Dedicated to providing the best care to each of his patients, Dr. Porter performs general, preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dental services. Some of Dr. Porter's most popular procedures are implant crowns, implant-supported partials, porcelain veneers, smile makeovers, and Bioliners (for teeth straightening). Many restorations and dental appliances can be designed and made in his in-office lab. Dr. Porter works with the CEREC system to design and manufacture custom crowns, temporary covers, mouth guards, and whitening trays. Dr. Porter earned his undergraduate degree in biology from The University of Texas in Austin. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Porter is certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He maintains his certification by attending continuing education seminars and professional workshops. Dr. Porter has served on the Board of Directors of three national non-profit organizations.
