About Robert R. Mclachlan, DDS
As one of the San Diego Magazine’s Top Dentists, Dr. Robert McLachlan strives to restore not only his patients’ smiles, but their self-confidence as well. As a Prosthodontist, Dr. McLachlan specializes in cosmetic and implant reconstructive dentistry. Dr. McLachlan describes his office and staff as a long term relationship-based practice because of the value he puts into long-term associations with patients. Many have been loyal to our practice for years. He says, “With all of our patients our biggest priority is to listen to your needs and together build your ideal smile.” His loyal staff is also devoted to bringing patients the most advanced dental care in an extremely relaxed atmosphere. Dr. McLachlan attended the University of Southern California for both his undergraduate education and doctoral degree from the School of Dentistry. At the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry, he received post-doctoral degrees in Prosthodontics and Masters of Oral Science. Dr. McLachlan has served as a member of the faculty at the USC Dental School and instructor in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry. He spent three years as a staff prosthodontist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City. Dr. McLachlan is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, the San Diego Prosthodontics Society, and the Escondido branch of the Rotary International, a community service organization.
