About Robert F. Larosa, DDS
Dr. LaRosa has lived in Southbury since 1992. He and his wife, Debbie have been very active in youth and community programs, as are their four children. Dr. LaRosa attended St. John's University on Long Island and Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1984. He began practicing in Fairfield, CT, in the office of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry Associates. He opened his own office in Southbury upon moving to the area in 1992, and relocated to Woodbury in 1994. His continuing education activities include courses through: CT State Dental Association; Fairfield County Study Club, focusing on Implant & Restorative Care; LD Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida; Creating Restorative Excellence of Seattle, WA; and the International Association for Orthodontics. Dr. LaRosa has earned his Certificate Degree in Orthodontics from New York University in their International Program taking courses in Manhattan and Lisbon, Portugal. He is an active member of his local study club and is currently pursuing his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to his private practice Dr. LaRosa provides dental care at a Newtown nursing home and a community health center in Waterbury, Connecticut. On a personal note, Dr. LaRosa is very involved in his children's activities. He has coached baseball, soccer and hockey for his children's teams for many years as well as serving as Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 162. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council of Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.
