About Robert H. Collier, DDS
Dr. Robert H. Collier has been providing families with exceptional comprehensive and cosmetic dental care. Dr. Collier became interested in being a health care provider through his involvement in the Amigos de las Americas program. As a high school student and college student, he spent six summers in Latin America providing vaccinations and logistical support, working in Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Dr. Collier earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in 1975 and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific - San Francisco in 1979. After graduation, he spent three years in Germany with the Army Dental Corp. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Collier practiced as an associate dentist in Tucson and New York City. In 1991, he opened his own practice in its current location. He loves being able to practice and live in his hometown with his wife, Judith, and their daughter, Maddie. Dr. Collier feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona State Dental Association, Southern Arizona Dental Association, Second District Dental Association in New York and the BAJA Study Club. To give back to the organization that ignited his passion for health care, Dr. Collier has served as the president of the Amigos de las Americas – Tucson chapter. He is currently a board member of the organization. When not at the office or volunteering, Dr. Collier enjoys hiking, skiing, fly fishing and playing music with his family and friends.
