About Robert A. Colgrove
Dr. Colgrove is noted for his cosmetic surgical skills of the face and body, including facelifts, breast augmentation and body contouring, using the latest and most successful surgical techniques. Dr. Colgrove takes great pride in his plastic surgery specialty and constantly strives to keep abreast of the latest, most advanced techniques in order to offer his patients the best options available. Dr. Colgrove is a graduate of Loma Linda University Medical School, one of the oldest medical schools in California. Upon completing medical school, Dr. Colgrove began an extensive internship and residency in general surgery at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Residency in plastic surgery was then completed at Charles F. Kettering Hospital in Dayton. Dr. Colgrove is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has been a licensed Medical Doctor (MD) since 1981, and his private practice specializes in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Colgrove moved to Cobb County, Ga. in 1986 and worked to build a plastic surgery practice that would specialize in the excellence of surgical results with personal patient care. Dr. Colgrove lectures on a regular basis to hospital groups, radio and television talk shows, business organizations and more. He is an educator, emphasizing the various aspects of plastic surgery. Dr. Colgrove resides in Atlanta, where he is an active member of the ALTA tennis organization and plays at the “A” level. He enjoys swimming, biking, weightlifting, wakeboarding and motorcycle riding.
