About Robert A. Claypoole, DMD
Dr. Robert Claypoole has owned and operated his own dental practice in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania for the past 21 years. His gentle demeanor in the office has translated into strong loyalty with both patients and staff. His office offers the ""warm and inviting"" feeling with its local neighborhood location, while providing the most modern state of the art dentistry. Dr. Claypoole treats his patients with respect and is dedicated to educating them on the many benefits of good oral hygiene. He has high standards and expectations of both himself and his staff to go above and beyond in providing patients with the most gentle and thorough cleanings using the newest and best materials. Before embarking on his professional career, he was born and raised in Southampton, Pennsylvania and enjoyed all local sports. He found a passion and love for ice hockey and spent many years playing the sport as a goalie. After graduating locally from La Salle University, he was readily accepted into Temple University School of Dentistry where is graduated, top of his class, in 1990. He enjoys learning new dental techniques and keeps his continuing education at the top of his priorities. On a personal note, Dr. Claypoole has traveled to Isreal, Egypt, Mexico and throughout the United States. When not traveling, you will find Dr. Claypoole at home listening to Elvis, out boating or enjoying the company of his two daughters. A short trip to the New Jersey shore to relax or perhaps taking in a Phillies game is a must during the spring and summer months. He is a huge animal lover and often is involved in rescuing and/or fostering dogs. He presently has two American Staffordshire dogs, both of which came to his home through his support of local dog rescue groups.
