About Rita E. Fisler, MD
Dr. Rita Fisler has been a board-certified dermatologist since 2006, and practices general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Fisler is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Kansas Medical Center, where she was chief resident. She has conducted research and published articles in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Journal of Dermatopathology and has given presentations at the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She was voted Regional Top Doctor by Castle and Connelly in 2014, and Most Compassionate Doctor in 2011 and 2012. She is a member of Phoenix Dermatologic Society, Maricopa Medical Society, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Fisler has an undergraduate degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, where she majored in Vocal Performance, and she lived and performed in Paris, France for five years before medical school. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling and enjoys all outdoor activities including running, hiking, biking, skiing, and scuba diving. Dr. Fisler enjoys the uplifting interactions with patients, and the rewards of helping to improve their skin conditions.
