About Richard A. Schmidt, DDS
Dr. Richard Schmidt Skokie Dentist, has committed his career to providing the most advanced treatment for his patients. He treats children, adults and senior citizens. He is dedicated to learning new techniques to keep his patients healthy and smiling. He is an active member in the prestigious Seattle Study Club where he joins other dentists in learning the most advanced treatment techniques. This provides him with the opportunity to learn directly from the leaders in dentistry. He is also a member in the American Dental Association, The Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. In 1988, Dr. Schmidt Dentist Skokie IL, graduated from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry. Upon completion of his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, he joined Illinois Masonic Hospital as a General Practice Resident. He was invited to become the Chief Dental Resident the following year where he not only honed his skills but was responsible for mentoring the other residents. When he finished his residency he worked as an associate before settling down in his own practice. Practicing in Skokie for the past 20 years, Dr. Schmidt has made his mark as a caring compassionate dentist that always has his patients’ best interest at heart. Along with his passion for dentistry, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He likes all sports especially tennis, skiing and golf.
