About Richard w. Maack, MD
Dr. Richard W. Maack is double board certified in facial plastic surgery as well as otolaryngology. A native of Maryland, Dr. Maack holds a medical degree from the University of Maryland and completed his residency through Washington University School of Medicine. He completed advanced training through his fellowship in Facial Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, School of Medicine, while holding the position of Associate Clinical Professor. He is currently a clinical instructor in the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery/Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Maack is a current member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Maack specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck in addition to the surgical management of otolaryngological disease. He has perfected the most advanced techniques involving specialized lasers, minimal incision surgery, nasal reshaping, platelet rich plasma face lifts (Synergi Lift), quick and effective snoring procedures, new facial injectables, eyelid surgery, endoscopic brow lifts, chin implants, protruding ear surgery, neck liposuction, scar revisions and repair of facial injuries.
