About Richard B. Derksen, DMD
Dr. Derksen has been a partner with Dallas Esthetics since 2012. In 2001, he graduated from Southern Methodist University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. After working as a consultant for three years in Washington, D.C., he decided that his true desire was to enter the field of dentistry. In 2009, he graduated from Boston University's School of Dental Medicine and went on to earn a Masters in Science and Certificate in Prosthodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry. In 2014, he became board certified in Prosthodontics. The thing he loves most about his job is the interaction he gets to have with his patients and the difference his work can have on their lives. Dr. Derksen and his wife, Alexis, have 3 children, Andrew, Eleni and Grace. In his free time, he enjoys playing ice hockey with his father, golfing, skiing and learning to play the guitar.
