About Renee Kurtz, DMD
Dr. Renee Kurtz received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Villanova University and her Doctorate in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She was then accepted to an Internship program with Dr. Gordon Christensen in Provo, Utah where she attended The Practical Clinical Courses and participated with CRA (Clinical Research Associates) in various research studies. Dr. Kurtz is a recent member of the Academy of Healthy Dentistry. While living in California, Dr. Renee Kurtz became a Course Director and Clinical Instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. There she lectured on the uses of non-metal restorations, dental materials, esthetic dentistry, and comprehensive treatment of patients. She also co-authored the dental manual for Operative Dentistry, participated in the USC Esthetic Dentistry Continuum, and developed a “Women in Dentistry” seminar. While practicing in Burbank, CA Dr. Renee Kurtz became involved in the Los Angeles Institute of Clinical Dentistry and is presently a faculty member, participating in lectures and seminars across the country. She has written and published articles on esthetic dentistry and occlusion and continues to stay current on the latest technologies in the dental field. Dr. Renee Kurtz has committed much of her professional career working with charities like Operation Smile, Haitian Health Foundation, and Life Haven Women’s Shelter. She has worked in a substance abuse clinic and spoken to elementary children on good oral health. She is continually reaching out to the community to spread the knowledge of dental health and prevention of oral disease.
