About Renee H. Fennell, DMD
Dr. Renee as she is affectionately called, is your Heart’s Dentist™ and is president of Dental First Corp. As a third generation general dentist graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry and as a bachelor degree Registered Nurse, Dr. Renee joins the ranks of the professionals who are cross trained to understand the connectivity between intra-oral and systemic health. Her goal is to significantly reduce periodontal and heart disease in the community by educating and empowering women to be champions of oral health. She brings holistic health practices to her patients in a warm and caring dental home. She is almost finished her book, ""Oral Health, The Gateway to a Healthy Heart!""™ She is passionate about mentoring and serves as a Diversity Officer and Adjunct Professor at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. As a community servant leader, Dr. Renee has received recognition from several organizations. She is past-president of the Philadelphia County Dental Society and a board member of the Mom-n-PA Foundation providing free dental services to the under-served in Pennsylvania where this year she serves as community co-chair. She is a member of the National Dental Association (NDA), and past president of the New Era Dental Society, a graduate of the American Dental Association's Institute of Diversity in Leadership and chairs the Diversity Task Force for the Pennsylvania Dental Association. She mentors students, organizes and participates in health fairs, community outreach and donates to local charities.
