About Rebecca Downie, DDS

Growing up, I spent a lot of time in my dad’s dental office after school. Through that, I gained a first-hand understanding of how important it is to have a warm and inviting dental environment. I wanted that in my own practice: connecting with my patients while providing affordable, competent care is still a top priority. Today, I love living and working as a dentist in Florida. Before moving to Tampa, I earned my DDS from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and joined my father’s dental practice, where I worked with him for four years. Once in Tampa, I practiced corporate dentistry and knew I wanted to reconnect with patients on a person-to-person level. That’s when I decided to open Pearl Dental Center. My office staff is equally dedicated to patients and demonstrates their commitment with each office visit and phone interaction. I have two wonderful assistants, an amazing dental hygienist, and an awesome office manager, who happens to be my mom. I love being able to spend time with patients and actually getting to know them. I'm proud to offer a homey dentistry feel, designed to provide necessary services that improve self-perception and understanding fears and needs. I believe in honest, affordable dentistry and educate my patients on the process for each procedure so there are no surprises. My general and cosmetic procedures come with a gentle touch, and include exams, cleanings, fillings, bonding, crowns, veneers, bridges, dentures, implant restorations, routine extractions, routine root canals, whitening, and clear aligner teeth straightening.
