About Rajiv Kalra, DMD
Dr. Rajiv Kalra (Dr. K) earned his dental degree with highest honors from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. During his time there Dr. K organized, supported, and participated in multiple dental mission trips to India, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. He also was on his class board and served as Treasurer throughout dental school. Dr K is a Tampa Bay native; he attended Hillsborough High School and went on to attend the University of Florida for his bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. After graduating with his doctorate of dental medicine, Dr. K spent two years practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Dr. K met his now wife, Priya Kalra, while living in Washington D.C. and they recently got married and moved to Tampa. Dr. K is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He enjoys learning about new technology and advances in the dental community and is passionate about helping his patients obtain pain relief and delivering dentistry in a safe and pain-free manner. He was recently awarded a certificate for completing an aesthetic continuum, which enhances his expertise in cosmetic dentistry. In his spare time he enjoys teaching the community about dental health by organizing health fairs as well as participating in well-recognized events such as the Special Olympics: Special Smiles and Mission of Mercy.
