About Pauline S. Scott, MD
Dr. Pauline Scott earned her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2008. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2012 and completed her Dermatology Residency in 2016 at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she served as chief resident. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2019, Dr. Scott provided dermatologic care at two Houston Dermatology practices where she was also involved as a sub-investigator for dermatologic clinical trials for new medications and treatments. Dr. Scott is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Women’s Dermatology Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Houston Dermatological Society, the Texas Dermatological Society, and the Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Scott enjoys traveling around the world, spending time with her family and friends, and reading. She also mentors and supports a Liberian medical student who aspires to become a surgeon in his home country, where access to medical care is severely limited. The best advice Dr. Scott has ever received is, “Be kind, as you never know what struggles people are going through.” The most exotic place she’s visited is Florence, Italy, which she loved because of its quaint atmosphere, amazing food, shopping, and the impressive Michelangelo sculpture of David. Not everyone knows this about Dr. Scott, but she loves listening to ’80s hair band rock songs since her older siblings made her listen to bands such as Poison and Motley Crue while growing up. Dr. Scott’s guilty pleasure is watching TV shows on the Bravo channel. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because of her love of dogs and also wanted to be greeting card writer!
