About Paula S. Gould, DDS
Paula S. Gould DDS is a highly trained general, cosmetic and implant dentist in Bergen County, NJ. Dr. Gould, in practice for 35 years, offers a wide range of procedures from routine dentistry and oral cancer screening to highly specialized surgical implant placement and implant crowns, dentures, smile makeovers, porcelain veneers, no-prep veneers, ZOOM teeth whitening, all white fillings, porcelain and metal free crowns, cosmetic bonding, and laser dentistry. Dental treatment to reduce migraine headaches is treated with great success by Dr. Gould. Botox/Xeomin for wrinkles and Juvederm, Restylane fillers for deep lines and fuller lips, all expertly placed for natural results, can compliment smiles and faces to reverse the look of facial aging. A product of the finest traditions in higher education, Dr. Paula Gould received her BA degree from The University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia ,PA., and her DDS Doctorate degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL. An intensive surgical residency program in advanced dental techniques was completed at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, W VA. Dr. Gould was a pioneer in the placement of porcelain veneers in the very first years they were invented. She has witnessed and embraced the invention of newer, stronger porcelains, making veneers more beautiful than ever before. Surgery is something Dr.Gould is passionate about, mastering the art of implant dentistry. Dr. Gould has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) for 25 years, attending their national conventions and continuing education courses. She has restored the smiles of local domestic abuse victims through the AACD Give Back a Smile Program, and through her own volunteerism with Shelter Our Sisters (now called Center for Hope and Safety) in Bergen County. She readily embraced becoming a provider of both Botox and Juvederm fillers. As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) , she frequently updates her education in the area of dental /facial enhancement techniques. Among Dr. Gould's many hobbies are photography (exhibited and sold in galleries), pique assiette mosaic work (a form of broken pottery mosaics), interior design, skiing, tennis, running, working out, and yoga...her fixation. She hopes to do her first Spartan this year.
