About Patrice Winterholler, DDS
Patrice Winterholler, DDS Cosmetic, TMJ, and Neuromuscular Dentist grew up in St. George, Utah and Houston, Texas. As the daughter of an accomplished dentist dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Patrice was inspired by her father’s passion for his profession and lifelong learning. Her father, Dr. Larry Staples in Las Vegas, Nevada is still practicing today at the age of 74! She has continued this passion to provide her patients with only the best in cosmetic and restorative dentistry while helping them gain confidence with a better, healthier smile. Now, as a trusted dentist with a broad range of skills and abilities, Dr. Patrice follows in her father’s footsteps, creating beautiful smiles for her patients through cosmetic and orthodontic solutions. She has helped her patients achieve their dream smiles for over 20 years. Dr. Patrice loves working with people from all walks of life at her practice, learning their stories, and discovering how she can best use her abilities to help them. She finds great satisfaction in helping her patients get out of pain with TMJ treatment and neuromuscular dental solutions—her training in both orthodontic treatment and neuromuscular solutions allows her to solve many chronic pain issues for patients while also giving them the ability to smile with comfort and speak with confidence. Dr. Patrice also helps patients get a real night’s sleep with dental sleep apnea solutions—let’s hear it for no more C-PAP machines! Dr. Patrice Winterholler graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1996. After graduating from dental school, the doctor completed her two-year orthodontic course in 2000 with Straightwire Seminars in Encinitas, California studying under Dr. Waldmer Brehm, the founder of Straightwire Orthodontics. She is forever grateful for his mentorship. She has also completed advanced continuing education courses in orthodontics and TMJ treatment at Occlusion Connections with Dr. Clayton Chan in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in advanced anterior aesthetics, comprehensive anterior reconstruction, and neuromuscular orthodontics. Dr. Patrice is married to Dr. Chris Winterholler, and they are the parents of three children, Michael, Kate, and Beth and recently grandson Jay!
