About Parviz H. Goshtasby, MD
A highly accomplished and experienced plastic surgeon, Dr. Parviz Hiroshi Goshtasby MD, FACS provides the highest level of care in all aspects of cosmetic and restorative surgery. He is one of the select few surgeons to achieve triple certification in general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery. Dr. Goshtasby underwent 17 years of rigorous education and training to fine-tune his skills as a proficient surgeon. He began his quest for excellence at Northwestern University and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry with honors. After graduating from Northwestern, Dr. Goshtasby attended the prestigious Tufts University School of Medicine, where he served as Class President. During his 9 years of post-graduate residency and fellowship training, Dr. Goshtasby has performed thousands of procedures. As a resident surgeon at York Hospital, affiliated with Pennsylvania State University of York, he attained a solid foundation in surgical technique and critical patient care. In addition, Dr. Goshtasby pursued a fellowship in hand surgery at the Hand Center of Western New York, affiliated with SUNY Buffalo. Finally, he honed his surgical skills during three years of focused training in the fully-accredited and specialized Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
