About Olivia G. Ray, DDS
Dr. Ray grew up in Arizona and is from a family of dentists. She grew up helping at her father’s oral surgery practice, and her brother is now working toward his dental degree as well. Dr. Ray went to California for her undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego. She moved out to Texas to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Gassmann received two Clinical Excellence Awards and a Comprehensive Dentistry Award at the Health Science Center. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the VA hospital in Temple, TX where she was trained in IV sedation, implant surgery, and periodontal surgery. Dr. Ray is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, San Antonio District Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with her husband Ramón; he is also a dentist! When they are not working, they love exploring San Antonio with their dog. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, and reading- especially mystery novels.
