About Ni-Jui J. Liang, MD
Dr. Ni-Jui James Liang, a board-certified plastic surgeon and active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, is experienced in microsurgery and complex reconstructive plastic surgery procedures. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery for the body and breast, along with facial rejuvenation procedures. Dr. Liang believes in providing patients with the same level of care that he would want his family to receive. Dr. Liang most recently completed a 1-year cosmetic surgery fellowship at The Wall Center in Shreveport, LA, where he honed his aesthetic surgical skills under some of the nation’s top board-certified plastic surgeons. He was awarded the competitive fellowship after spending 3 years as an attending plastic surgeon at Saint Luke’s Hospital System in Kansas City, MO. During that time, he performed numerous complex reconstructive plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Liang’s education began at the University of Maryland, where he was in the honor’s program and was a Dean’s Scholar as a computer science major with an upper-level concentration in biology. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, becoming a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Liang then completed a 6-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Liang completed a yearlong microsurgery fellowship at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco before taking the position at Saint Luke’s in Kansas City. Fluent in conversational Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Liang is married with 2 young children. He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.
