About Nicole Burkemper, MD
Dr. Nicole Burkemper treats patients who have skin cancer, complex medical skin conditions, acne, and warts. Her areas of expertise include contact dermatitis, dermatopathology, phototherapy, and patch testing for allergies. She applies the latest dermatologic advancements in her treatment plans, such as immunosuppressive and biologic therapies, and extensive patch testing. Her research interests include contact dermatitis, dermatopathology, and medical education. Dr. Burkemper is an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is the director of the department’s residency program. Professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the American Society of Dermatopathology. Dr. Burkemper is a board member of the Missouri Dermatological Society and also serves as the chair of the SLUCare Quality and Patient Safety Steering Committee. A native of Troy, Missouri, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and running.
